Lina is a stunning solid black female German Shepherd. She currently weighs 74 pounds. She is at the ideal age and will turn two in May of 2026. We are so excited to have such a powerhouse of a female available to start off the new year.
Lina was raised with her incredible brother, Lex, who was just recently delivered to his new family in Illinois. She grew up in Slovakia and was the shadow of her 8-year-old human sister, always following her around the house and going for walks in the village. Now, she’s enjoying the company of kids from our family and friends here in Dallas. She was also raised around chickens and goats and remains neutral to them, which we continue to see here at our facility.
She’s the perfect mix of spitfire energy and power when appropriate, and relaxed cuddle companion. Lina will thrive in a medium to active family. This doesn’t mean she needs intense exercise, but she loves to be involved in whatever the family is doing. She has an extremely sweet and affectionate personality once you’re in her circle. She’s playful and engaged around children and genuinely enjoys being part of their world. She is neutral to all dogs but tends to play better with larger dogs, simply because she loves to run.
When it comes to bite work, this is where Lina’s intensity shines. She is a light switch from calm to explosive power, and she gives everything she has every single time. It’s hard to put into words the differences we see in our dogs during protection training, but Lina makes it obvious. We work bite scenarios daily, and every time we ask her to show aggression, she comes alive, screaming, spitting, clawing, and foaming at the mouth. The handler and decoy always glance at each other and laugh, not because it’s funny, but because they know what they’re seeing. In that moment, nothing else matters. She is fully committed. She is the real deal and will be ready to go home with her new family in March.
