From the first time we put Bono into serious protection work, we were blown away by his heart. He was raised in a home with a female German Shepherd and a two-year-old little girl. Bono spent his days inside and outside the house while his owners were at work, then settled right into family life when everyone was home. Three days a week, he went to training, where he developed highly motivated obedience and strong protection fundamentals.
Because of his upbringing and training routine, Bono is very social and environmentally stable. He has done well with every type of animal we have introduced him to, including cats, large and small dogs of both genders, and even game birds. He is comfortable in real life, not just while training.
