Affectionate Companion

Our Level I Personal Protection Dogs are affectionate, friendly, loving family companions. This means guests invited into your home are also immediately accepted and warmly greeted. This friendly nature continues outside of the home as well, whether he is being taken for a walk, accompanying you on errands or with you at a social gathering.

This friendly, accepting nature immediately changes, however, when you are faced with a potential threat.

Protection From a Potential Threat

The presence of a large German Shepherd will usually deter the less experienced of criminals. An intense display of aggression will usually deter those foolish enough not to be deterred by the mere presence of the dog to begin with. If the person is not deterred then the use of force to protect you is required.

Our Level I Personal Protection Dogs provide for both: the deterrent from a passive or aggressive threat, as well as the ability to use force (attack) if necessary.

Specific Skills

The specific skills include the Aggressive Alert, Attack, Release, Recall (stop attack after already being sent), Turn Off.

Advanced Obedience

The foundation of our dogs obedience training begins in Europe. This training is then refined enabling them to respond with precision. We then add additional formal commands developed by CPI including the Naspo (most commonly used command when outside and off leash) as well as informal commands which are the most functional commands used in day to day life.

The dog's obedience, both formal and informal, is then polished with a program designed to help ensure that your dog responds to you, an inexperienced owner, as well as he responds to us as professional trainers.

The final phase of training is to refine the dog's manners, ensuring that they truly are "highly trained exclusive companions".

Custom Tailored Training

Your dog's training in obedience, protection and manners will be customized to meet your specific needs, lifestyle and personal preferences.

Handling Program

Included in our Level I program is a 1 1/2 day handling program at our training center in Boston.

We will not sell a dog to someone unless they participate in one on one handling instruction.

An alternative to coming to Boston would be if we had confidence in a trainer local to you. If such training is available then a minimum commitment of a day and a half is required. The first day requires two hours with a trainer to assist with acclimation and an overview of training and care. The following day handling instruction over an 8 hour period is required.

Personal Delivery

Another alternative to traveling to Boston is to have your dog personally delivered by one of our trainers.

The delivery includes acclimating your dog to your home and family. Also included is a comprehensive program of handling instruction to ensure your dog responds to you on the same level as he or she responds to us.

The cost of personal delivery is $750.00 a day (one trainer) plus the expenses of airfare, hotel and car rental.

(Personal delivery is included in the purchase of our Level II Advanced Personal Protection Dogs and Level III Executive Protection Dogs as well as with dogs trained in our Elite programs.)
