Protection Dog Basics I
Description
All of our Protection Dog Basics programs are intended to be useful as the one and only program a dog ever goes through. However, they have been designed to be used as a way for dog owners to ultimately own a dog trained in one of our advanced programs (Executive Protection Dog, Elite Family Guardian and our Elite Family and Estate Protection Dog programs) but to achieve the advanced training in phases. This approach is ideal for young dogs not ready for our advanced programs. Also for owners who prefer the total cost of advanced training for their dog to be paid over time.
Our Protection Dog Basics 1 program includes our Obedience Complete by CPI program while providing the skills necessary to “turn-on” aggressively, bite on command, release on command as well as to “turn-off”. The protection aspects of the program are old school basics, but with greater functionality.
CPI Training For Your Dog
The Previously Unschooled Dog
This program is ideal for owners who have purchased imported dogs from us, or elsewhere. Most owners of titled imported adults find the European sport training to be less the functional. (Typically most dogs with European sport training do not "turn-on" in everyday life, nor is their off-leash control reliable in public.) For owners who want basic functionality, without going into advanced training, this program is the answer.
Dogs who have little to no previous experience biting usually require more work then those with a foundation. Nevertheless, we charge the same amount regardless of previous experience. We offer this for one reason. We like to develop long-term clients. Our hope is you will be so amazed with this initial program you pursue more advanced training for your dog over-time. Of course there are always your friends, neighbors and relatives. We would love to impress them with your dog’s training as well!
Evaluations
While all dogs are capable of going through our Obedience Complete by CPI program (regardless of breed or age), not all dogs are capable of functional protection training. We offer an evaluation at no charge to clients who bring their dogs to us at our facility just outside of Boston in Methuen, Massachusetts.
For dogs shipped to us there is a $500.00 charge for the time involved with pick-up and delivery to the airport. If your dog is accepted into any one of our programs, including obedience, the $500.00 charge is credited towards the price of the program.
Our office staff will be happy to make the necessary arrangements for air transportation. We offer ground transportation for pets located within New England, New York and New Jersey.

CPI Fully Trained Dogs For Sale
The fully trained dogs who we offer for sale are all trained in our three advanced programs: Executive Protection Dog, Elite Family Guardian and Elite Family and Estate Protection Dog programs. You may purchase one of our imported adults (at the bottom of the Dogs For Sale page) and have him or her trained in our Protection Dog Basics I program. The price for imported adults start at $8,500.00.
