Description

Our Elite Family Guardian program builds on the foundation of our Executive Protection Dog program. The emphasis of the Elite Family Guardian by CPI program is our “Attend” exercise.

Our “Attend” exercise provides a viable means for parents to deter potential threats, immediately detect and be alerted of those individuals not deterred and an option for clients to have their dogs defend their children automatically if someone other then the immediate family attempts to physically touch their son or daughter.

The ability to deter potential threats is simply accomplished by having an Elite Family Guardian remain by a child’s side. This is accomplished by simply pointing at the child and instructing the dog to “Attend”. The Elite Family Guardian then remains by their side throughout the day as they move from place to place, indoors or out. IF someone does approach other than immediate family when under this command the dog will stand up, remain by the child’s side and bark to alert the parents or caretaker.

The Attend exercise stops at just deterring and detecting unless otherwise requested. An additional option for this exercise is for the dog to stop the person approaching (by biting) IF they actually touch the child. For most families this option creates too many potential problems with innocent people being stopped by the dog. An example would be a neighbor who knows the dog, and child and approaches to say hello. A rub to child’s head would be all that is needed for the dog to defend the child. Obviously not a situation anyone want to have happen. It is an option for a family whose security concerns and lifestyle support such an option.

CPI Training for Your Dog

In order for your dog to enter any of our programs an evaluation must take place to determine his or her ability. A challenge with the Elite Family Guardian by CPI program is that few dogs are capable of the training, and still fewer capable of the performance being functional on a long-term basis. For dogs capable of the training and maintaining proficiency, it is a great option to have available when raising a family.

Purchasing a Fully Trained Dog

We offer fully trained adult German Shepherds and Belgian Malinois, imported from Europe, and trained in our Elite Family Guardian by CPI program.

The dogs we select for our programs are all dogs we would enjoy owning ourselves. They are selected based on their natural ability, temperament, personality and appearance. All of our dogs are thoroughly evaluated by our vets both in Europe and in Boston. We include a 6 to 12 month unconditional satisfaction guarantee and a 12 to 24 month health guarantee. The purchase of a fully trained Elite Family Guardian includes personal delivery by one of our senior staff over a three day period.

We do welcome questions about our training and fully-trained dogs anytime. If you are visiting Boston we encourage you to stop by and visit our training center. Visitors are invited to stay as long as they wish so they can experience first hand “behind the scenes at CPI”.

While prospective owners are always invited to visit we have designed a process for purchasing a dog that does not require having to travel to Boston. We believe our clients will end up with the same dog whether they visit us or not. That is the result of a process we have developed over the years. That process starts with understanding your specific needs, as well as personal preferences. The best way to start that process is by filling out our questionnaire for first time owners. We remove any risk in the process by providing an unconditional satisfaction guarantee. We ensure your complete satisfaction by having one of our senior staff personally deliver your dog, acclimate him or her to your home and family, customize the training on-site as needed and then provide handling instruction to insure the highest level of performance.
