Welcome to our new protection dog blog. I founded Canine Protection International (CPI) in May of 1996. I’d spent nearly 20 years importing German Shepherds and Belgian Malinois from Europe for top producing breeders, law enforcement and dog sport competitors. During this time I trained and had working relationships with Europe’s most accomplished trainers in dog sports, law enforcement (including elite K9 Assault Units) and industrial K9 security.

My notion was to import the finest protection dogs Europe had to offer, combined with the most advanced training available. Anywhere!
